We provide pet care services to addresses within a 10-mile drive of the Bastrop State Park entrance at Park Road 1A in Bastrop, Texas. Please use Google Maps (or your map of choice) to enter directions and view whether you are in our service area.

Owner & Founder
From a young age, I’ve had a passion for working with animals, which eventually expanded to volunteering and fostering with the local animal shelter in Bastrop, Texas. Not only do I have experience with cats, dogs and other little critters, but I also worked with horses as a barn manager and trainer. I started building Piney Paws in 2018 when my love of animals – and need to make a difference – led me on a path to service others.
I place a high value on integrity and trust. To build a strong relationship with animals, you need to form a bond – and you cannot do that without honesty. (That lends itself to both people and animals, by the way!)
Living in the quaint town of Bastrop keeps me grounded in nature, and I’m so grateful to be able to give back to the community by doing something that’s always been a part of me: caring for animals. When I’m not working on Piney Paws or volunteering, I love spending time with my husband, two daughters and whatever fosters I have in my care at the time!

Hey there! I’m originally from the Midwest, grew up with every animal you can think of! Everything from dogs, cats, raccoons, rats, horses, snakes, etc. I can’t remember a time when I didn’t have a pet in my life. Pets & wildlife are definitely my passion in life! My husband & I moved to Texas from Las Vegas about 7 years ago. We currently have 6 dogs and also raise mini cows as pets. Next to our animals, football & hockey are very important in our lives. During the aftermath of Harvey, we loaded up a trailer full of pet donations and came out to assist with animal rescues. It was truly life changing and made us fall in love with Texas. I am well versed and calm in emergency situations but just as comfortable with the routine of day to day life with pets. My goal is to give you peace of mind while you’re away and build lasting bonds with your pets. I am so grateful to have become a part of the Piney Paws team!

I’m passionate about animals and consider them to be an essential part of my life. Growing up on a small family farm, I was surrounded by a variety of creatures, from chickens and turkeys to sheep, goats, horses, and emus (a personal favorite). This upbringing shaped my values and deepened my love for all animals. Whether it’s tending to livestock or caring for beloved pets, my experiences have taught me the importance of companionship and responsibility. This lifelong bond with animals has inspired me to advocate for their welfare and spread awareness of the joy they can bring to our lives. My family moved to Bastrop in 2019, and we absolutely adore this community. We live with our two dogs, cat, gecko, and fish. I look forward to meeting new friends and working with your “fur” family!
