Caring for pets isn’t what we do – it’s who we are. We’re not just getting sap-py here! We genuinely love spending time with your pets, and vice-versa.

Service Areas
We provide pet care services to addresses under a 10-mile drive of the Bastrop State Park entrance at Park Road 1A in Bastrop, Texas. Please use google maps (or your map of choice) to put directions in and view wether you are in our service area.
Why Piney Paws?
We aren’t hobbyists! Pet-sitting is our career and our passion. We are insured/bonded, trained in pet CPR/first aid and background-checked, giving you peace of mind that your fur-babies’ care is in the hands of reliable professionals.
We know each pet and family are unique, which is why we offer customizable visits based on your schedule, routine and preference. We also care about your home! During every visit, we’ll perform security checks and check for anything out of the ordinary.
We truly love our community. A percentage of our profits goes directly to the local animal community to educate pet parents on the benefits of spaying/neutering, microchips and vaccination.
We’re available. Many clients have found us after not hearing back from other pet-sitters. With our easy-to-use online booking system and team of experts waiting to care for your pets, rest assured you will always be covered.
Meet the Piney Paws Team

Owner & Founder
From a young age, I’ve had a passion for working with animals, which eventually expanded to volunteering and fostering with the local animal shelter in Bastrop, Texas. Not only do I have experience with cats, dogs and other little critters, but I also worked with horses as a barn manager and trainer. I started building Piney Paws in 2018 when my love of animals – and need to make a difference – led me on a path to service others.
I place a high value on integrity and trust. To build a strong relationship with animals, you need to form a bond – and you cannot do that without honesty. (That lends itself to both people and animals, by the way!)
Living in the quaint town of Bastrop keeps me grounded in nature, and I’m so grateful to be able to give back to the community by doing something that’s always been a part of me: caring for animals. When I’m not working on Piney Paws or volunteering, I love spending time with my husband, two daughters and whatever fosters I have in my care at the time!

I have been the friendly neighborhood pet-sitter since my adolescence, worked on farms throughout the country with various animals, and have a plethora of professional experience and knowledge from years as supervisor of a dog day care and boarding facility. Hey there!
I’m originally from the Midwest, grew up with every animal you can think of! Everything from dogs, cats, raccoons, rats, horses, snakes, etc. I can’t remember a time when I didn’t have a pet in my life. Pets & wildlife are definitely my passion in life!
My husband & I moved to Texas from Las Vegas about 7 years ago. We currently have 6 dogs and also raise mini cows as pets. Next to our animals, football & hockey are very important in our lives.
During the aftermath of Harvey, we loaded up a trailer full of pet donations and came out to assist with animal rescues. It was truly life changing and made us fall in love with Texas. I am well versed and calm in emergency situations but just as comfortable with the routine of day to day life with pets. My goal is to give you peace of mind while you’re away and build lasting bonds with your pets. I am so grateful to have become a part of the Piney Paws team!
